Applications for the UK's Chevening Scholarships open until 7 November 2023

Applications for Chevening Scholarships to study in the UK are open between 12 September and 7 November 2023. Applications are to be submitted via the online application form at chevening.org/apply.

Chevening Scholarships are awarded to people from all backgrounds who can demonstrate that they have the commitment and skills required to become future leaders, and can demonstrate a Masters degree from the Kingdom How he will help them create positive change in their country. This scholarship provides comprehensive financial support to students wishing to study for an eligible master’s degree at over 150 UK universities, while also having access to a range of academic, professional and exclusive culture.

Since the program began in 1983, more than 55,000 professionals have had the opportunity to take their careers to the next level through Chevening. Around 1,500 scholarships are available globally for the 2024/2025 academic year, demonstrating the UK’s ongoing commitment to developing future leaders. This year is special as we celebrate 40 years of Chevening Scholarships in the Philippines. Since 1983, more than 550 Filipino scholars have joined the global Chevening network, studying in the UK and bringing their skills and passion to make a difference in the Philippines.

Head of Scholarships at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), Emma Hennessey, said:
