New initiative to give quick passports to Bangladeshi expatriates in Dubai

With the aim of providing passports to expatriate Bangladeshis living in Dubai and Northern Emirates in the United Arab Emirates, outsourcing has been undertaken in the manner of many developed countries.

This information was informed in a circular of the Bangladesh Consulate in Dubai on Tuesday (December 19).

According to the notification, machine readable passport (MRP) services will be provided initially through Fawa Global’s modern and well-equipped air-conditioned service center located in Al Karama, Dubai from December 25.

Expatriates are advised to contact Fawa Global’s service center in Al Karama. Expatriates can take passport service from this center from Monday to Friday, five days a week from 8 am to 4 pm.


A free hourly shuttle service is available from the consulate’s main gate to and from Fawa Global, the release said.
