The organization said that this visa could be obtained upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, provided that the traveler went to the EgyptAir transit office there to complete the necessary paperwork. This visa could then be received for free. EgyptAir has been designated the "fastest recovered airline" in Africa by the Athens 2.2 Airline Marketing Workshop, which is an annual event hosted by Athens International Airport. EgyptAir is among the airlines that recovered the quickest from the coronavirus outbreak. According to the statement made by the workshop to choose the best airlines serving Africa, the outcomes were determined by the volume of passenger demand, the airlines' success in maintaining flying service, and the density of passengers. In the most recent "Skytrax World Airline" ranking of airlines, EgyptAir rose 26 positions to 95th overall from 121st in 2021, while Qatar Airways continued to hold the top spot for the second consecutive year.
