The day of a level result is a bad one; it can feel make-or-break. The grades in that brown envelope have the power to alter your entire life's course, regardless of whether you are sure you have the credentials to enrol in your top choice university, are completely screwing up, or are just not interested.
If this Thursday's events don't go as planned, there are many more possibilities available, since hundreds of universities, including 14 Russell Group universities, offer degrees through Clearing.
Despite Clearing 2023 actually opening over a month ago on July 5th, there are still nearly 2,000 courses at Russell Group unis up for grabs. If you’re looking to get as far from home as possible, there are universities in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland all with availability. You don’t need to apply for a Clearing course ahead of results day but it’s a good idea to have a look now ahead of time as places will fill up very fast on Thursday morning.
