64 pieces of gold bars seized at Shah Amanat Airport

Customs officials seized 64 gold bars, weighing around 7.5 kg, from Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong, Bangladesh.

Oman Air flight WY-311 landed in Chittagong at 8:50 pm on Friday (February 16). The gold was later seized from inside the airport.

Shah Amanat International Airport Director Group Captain Taslim Ahmed confirmed the matter.

He said that on the basis of secret information, the customs and customs intelligence officials working at the airport searched and seized 64 pieces of gold bars from the airport. Whose weight is about seven and a half kilograms.

Necessary measures are being taken in this regard, he added.
