In a remarkable journey from the remote village of Gupinagor in Kamalganj Thana, Moulvibazar district, Bangladesh, Hussan Jakaria has achieved a significant milestone by joining Arden University as an Associate Lecturer. Arriving in the United Kingdom as a student visa holder, he faced numerous challenges but never let them deter him from his goals. During the initial phase of his career, Hussan worked as a Pizza Hut delivery driver, showcasing his dedication to making ends meet while pursuing his academic aspirations. Having previously been a student at Regent College London in 2011, Hussan earned his first foundation degree in the UK. Subsequently, he completed his bachelor's degree at the University of Sunderland and pursued his master's degree at London South Bank University, laying the foundation for his future in the field of education. Today, he proudly also serves as a lecturer at Regent College London, demonstrating the full circle of his educational journey. Hussan's professional experience extends beyond these positions, as he has accumulated now over two years of teaching expertise from other institutions in the UK. Notably, he has contributed his skills to prestigious organisations such as Oxford International Education Group and Apex College. Expressing his passion for education, Hussan Jakaria emphasises the need for more individuals of Bangladeshi origin to enter the teaching profession. Acknowledging the scarcity of Bangladeshi educators in the field, he aspires to inspire and pave the way for aspiring individuals from his homeland.
