In order to enter the United Arab Emirates (UAE), visitors must get a visitation visa.

The traveler may apply for this visa directly from the UAE or via a sponsor or host, who must provide a guaranteed sum and pay the necessary expenses.

A 30- or 60-day single-entry visa is issued to tourists. The sponsor or host is in charge of covering the costs and supplying a financial security deposit; they must be a UAE-based tourism establishment.

1. One personal photo.

2. A passport copy.

3. The national identity card for the country of origin (needed by citizens of Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, and Iraq).

4. Valid health insurance in the United Arab Emirates.

5. A ticket for a flight out of the United Arab Emirates or onward travel.
