Bangladeshi murdered in Malaysia

In Teluk Intan, a Bangladeshi worker's body was discovered close to the shared apartment where he resided. The 27-year-old man's body was discovered near some bushes on Thursday morning, according to Perak police head Datuk Comm Azizi Mat Aris. (Oct 10).He said the man had wounds on various portions of his body in addition to damage to his neck. "Three housemates of the victim aged between 32 and 39 have been taken in to help with the investigation," stated Comm. Azizi. The police have confiscated their cell phones, and neither the reason behind the murder nor the identity of the perpetrator are yet known."In the shared residence at Taman Lagenda - where building work is happening - 34 workers are staying," he explained at a press briefing at the state police headquarters on Oct 10.

The three were arrested because they were last seen with the victim.

"They said they searched for the victim to join them for prayers after their meal at 8.30pm, but he was nowhere to be found," he said.

To determine how he died and what weapon was used, the body has been taken to the Teluk Intan Hospital for a post-mortem examination. "The police are looking for the murder weapon, and we will check the suspects' phones for any sign of a dispute," he stated.
