The oldest living politician of Moulvibazar district, interim leader of the Chhatra League in Moulvibazar subdivision, and current member of the National Council of the Awami League, Mohammad Feroz of Kachua village of the Ekatuna Union of Moulvibazar, passed away in Cardiff Hospital some time ago.

Mr. Mohammad Firoz was the founding president of Moulvibazar District Chhatra League (the then sub-division of Chhatra League). Later, he was the General Secretary of Moulvibazar District Awami League and a member of the National Council of Bangladesh Awami League and the founding president of Wales Awami League. He was a well-known person in Britain and the United Kingdom.
