The cabinet of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif authorised the scholarships for 100 Bangladeshi students on Wednesday.

Details indicate that after the overthrow of the Indian "stooge" regime, relations between Bangladesh and Pakistan grew stronger.

Following Bangladesh's acceptance of Pakistani students at the University of Dhaka, the Pakistani government extended a hand to the friendly nation.

In the meantime, Bangladeshi students will be able to pursue higher education in Pakistan thanks to the scholarships.

According to sources, the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka served as the proceedings' "focal" organisation.

The Pakistani universities will themselves pick up the Bangladeshi universities on their respective portals.

It is pertinent to note that the education cooperation between the two countries is being restored after a long time.

Meanwhile, recently the Pakistan cargo vessel also arrived in Chittagong.
