He went to the Chittagong court like any other day, but his relatives did not think that his frozen body would return like this. Saiful Islam Alif came to the legal profession with many dreams. It all ended at the age of just 32. His wife was also pregnant, and he could not see the face of his unborn child. His family and relatives cannot accept such a brutal death.

Alif, who was killed in a Chinmoy's supporters attack during a clash with the police in Chittagong, had completed 5 years as a lawyer. He has a 3-year-old daughter, and his wife is pregnant. The entire family is mourning.

Jannat Ara Begum, the elder sister of the deceased Alif, said, "Alif was everyone's favorite. Since childhood, it was his habit to do good for everyone."

The unfortunate father rushed to the hospital from the village after receiving the news of the death of his beloved younger son Alif. His heart-wrenching cries brought everyone to tears.

It is worth noting that the deceased Alif passed his LLB in 2017 and LLM the following year from the International Islamic University of Chittagong (IIUC).

Nurul Mostafa Sohel, a senior lawyer, said, "Alif went to the spot after being informed about an attack on a mosque. He was taken from there and was hacked dead."

Kotwali police station’s officer-in-charge Fazlul Quader Chowdhury said, “When the police fired tear gas shells to clear the road, ISKCON activists started attacking different establishments and vehicles after being dispersed.”
