Immigration facilities in Portugal closed for Tourist and Schengen visas

According to the country's media reports, Prime Minister Luis Montenegro said that Portugal's doors are not closing. But it will no longer be as vulnerable as it was. You can come to Portugal on a work permit visa, but you must have a work contract and guarantee of residence. The Portuguese Prime Minister has indicated to give strict instructions to the companies or institutions that provide employment or employment.

If you work in Portugal on a travel visa or any other way, you have an easier chance of being legalized than in other comparable European countries. For this reason, the crowd of European immigrants was always in Portugal. About half a million expatriate Bangladeshis are currently living in Portugal.

Students coming to Portugal with a visa from another European country cannot apply for a residence permit. However, a student visa can be obtained from the Portuguese consulate in your home country. In this new proposal, opportunities will increase for immigrants from Portuguese speaking or CPLP countries. Scholarship system is also being kept for the students of CPLP countries. The new proposal also states that no student can change their residence status without completing their studies.

Meanwhile, Portugal's immigration agency AIMA collected 30 million euros from migrants waiting to be legalized and deposited them into the government coffers. The organization is still working to settle more than 4 lakh applications. The Portuguese Prime Minister said that these applications will be settled soon.
