Khaleda Zia set to arrive in London on Tuesday


All preparations for BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia's foreign trip have been completed. If all goes well, she will leave Bangladesh at 11 am on Tuesday for advanced treatment.

A source said the plane carrying her could arrive in London Tuesday or Wednesday .Although everything was completed, including her visa and flight, several days ago, her treatment abroad is being delayed due to various reasons. 

A total of 15 people, including doctors, nurses and personal assistants from the Medical Board, will accompany her. The BNP leader will first be taken to London, UK, by air ambulance, and then to the United States from there, Daily Dazzling Dawn understand.

It is learned that all preparations for the BNP Chairperson's treatment at the world-famous Johns Hopkins University Hospital in East Baltimore, Maryland, USA have been completed. Her visas for the UK and the US have already been obtained.

She became the first woman prime minister of Bangladesh in 1991.

She will then travel to the United States for treatment of liver issues after spending a few days in London with her family members.According to Khaleda Zia's medical team, every detail has been planned for the BNP Chairperson's care.

UK BNP President MA Malek and General Secretary Koysor M Ahmed were contacted on Thursday morning to get more information about Begum Zia's trip. As they did not answer the phone till the time of writing this report, it was not possible to get their comments.

Nasir Ahmed Shahin, president of the UK Jatiotabadi Sessasebok Dol, said that if everything goes well, Madam is scheduled to leave Dhaka in 7th of January in an air ambulance from Qatar.
