Due to a significant display issue, Volkswagen has recalled over 60,000 electric cars in the United States. 

According to a Friday announcement by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, automobiles made by German automakers are unable to display specific gear options, which causes them to roll away if the emergency parking break is not used. 

Both the Audi Q4 e-tron and the Volkswagen ID.4 are electric cars that are affected by the recall. 

The study states that 60,490 recalls have been issued for 2022–2023 Audi Q4 e-tron automobiles and 201–2023 Volkswagen ID.4 cars.
