Khaleda Zia's Air Ambulance Departs London for Dhaka

Khaleda Zia's air ambulance, operated by Qatar, departed London's Heathrow Airport at approximately 4:30 PM local time on Monday, bound for Dhaka. Nashir Ahmed Shahin, President of the UK Secha Sebok Dol and Central Vice President, confirmed the departure. He also stated that a total of 13 companions are traveling with Zia, and the departure proceeded as scheduled.

The BNP Chairperson, Begum Khaleda Zia, departed Heathrow Airport for Dhaka after completing four months of medical treatment in London. Her UK visa was set to expire at midnight local time. Although there was the possibility of extending her visa, she had expressed a strong desire to return to her home country since after Eid.

Earlier in the day, at around 1:30 PM, a vehicle carrying Zia left the Kingston residence of her eldest son, Tarique Rahman, and arrived at Heathrow Airport's Terminal 4 VIP gate. Supporters were present, displaying posters and banners to welcome her departure.
