A psychic mother's school holidays have taken a bizarre turn as she claims her children have now developed the ability to see the ghosts she interacts with, leading to otherworldly companions on family outings.
Chloe Smith, a 28-year-old psychic medium from Staffordshire, says her three children—George, 9, Charlie, 7, and Ivy, 6—have inherited her unique powers. According to Smith, spirits are now "tagging along" on trips to the park and swimming pools, turning family time into a supernatural experience.
"In terms of school holidays, spirits just linger and can join in when we bake, craft or go for walks," Smith told What's the Jam. She explained that even on a simple trip to the swimming pool, ghosts will try to "pop in and join in," though she often has to politely tell them "no thank you."
Smith, who has a significant following on social media and a roster of celebrity clients, says she's followed by spirits day and night. She adds that while many of the spirits are younger, she has also had instances where older ghosts, including her own grandmother, will appear with unknown children in tow.
The psychic mother says her children's abilities manifest in different ways, with George often seeing spirits, while her youngest, Ivy, is "really psychic" and has even predicted a secret family trip to Alton Towers. Despite their supernatural gifts, Smith says she hasn't had a formal conversation with her children about their abilities, believing they are "in tune with everything" and understand the situation naturally.
To protect her family from any potentially malicious entities, Smith says she uses a "protective bubble" visualization technique. "All you’ve got to do is close your eyes and visualise yourself in this huge bubble that no one can enter," she explained.
The news about her children's shared abilities adds to Smith's already notable profile in the spiritual community. She gained public attention after realizing her powers at her grandmother's funeral and has since built a successful career as a full-time medium, offering readings and guidance to thousands of clients, including several high-profile celebrities.
