NVIDIA Unveils World’s First Industrial AI Cloud. Accelerating Digital Twin Adoption and Smart Manufacturing Across Europe

NVIDIA has announced the launch of the world’s first industrial AI cloud, a groundbreaking move designed to transform the future of manufacturing across Europe. At the heart of this transformation is NVIDIA Omniverse, a powerful platform that is rapidly becoming essential for major industrial players such as Siemens, Schaeffler, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz.

These companies are leveraging the Omniverse platform to build digital twins—highly accurate virtual replicas of physical factories and systems—which enable real-time simulation, collaboration, and optimization of complex industrial processes.

Schaeffler is integrating Siemens applications and collaborating with partners like Microsoft Azure Industrial Cloud and Wandelbots. By utilizing Wandelbots’ NOVA platform, Schaeffler is optimizing robotic simulations as part of the Mega NVIDIA Omniverse Blueprint. The initiative is already moving toward mass production readiness, with a strong focus on cutting integration costs and accelerating deployment timelines.

BMW Group is also embracing the Omniverse platform to construct large-scale digital twins of its production plants. With Omniverse libraries, BMW’s global teams can work together in real time to fine-tune factory layouts, test autonomous robots, and develop AI-driven systems—all before implementing them in the real world.

In a parallel collaboration with Siemens, BMW is dramatically speeding up aerodynamic simulations using NVIDIA Grace Blackwell processors and CUDA-X-accelerated Simcenter Star-CCM+ software. These simulations demonstrate a 30x performance increase, while also significantly reducing energy consumption and operational costs.

Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz is using Omniverse to virtually design and refine its factory assembly lines, leading to reduced downtime and greater efficiency throughout its global production network.

Together, these initiatives showcase how NVIDIA’s new Industrial AI Cloud is powering a shift toward AI-first, simulation-driven manufacturing. By enabling seamless integration, real-time collaboration, and accelerated innovation, NVIDIA is positioning itself at the forefront of Europe’s industrial digital revolution.
