Yunus and Tarique Rahman Now in Session

The highly anticipated meeting began today, Friday, June 13, at 9:00 AM local London time, at the Dorchester Hotel on Park Lane in Central London. Tarique Rahman arrived at the meeting venue shortly before 9:00 AM, carrying a bag of documents. At the start of the session, both leaders were pictured smiling. Sources suggest that if the Chief Advisor agrees to arrange elections in February, the BNP might also concur.

Before Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP Media Cell, that the Acting Chairman departed from his home with a positive outlook to meet with the Chief Advisor.

It's understood that Tarique Rahman is accompanied by Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, a member of the BNP Standing Committee and Chairperson's Foreign Affairs Advisory Committee, and Humayun Kabir, the BNP Acting Chairman's International Affairs Advisor.

Outside the meeting venue, nearly a thousand BNP activists began gathering approximately an hour before the scheduled start time. Furthermore, upon the conclusion of the meeting between Professor Yunus and Tarique Rahman, the Chief Advisor's press wing and BNP leaders will jointly hold a press briefing at the same venue. Akbar Hossain, Press Minister at the Bangladesh High Commission in London, confirmed this.

Following the meeting between Tarique Rahman and Dr. Muhammad Yunus, Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, a member of the party's National Standing Committee, will speak with local and international media in London.
