On Monday, September 8, 2025, the Chhatak Education Trust organized a solemn memorial and discussion meeting in honor of the late Abdul Kadir, a former secretary of the Chhatak Education Trust, secretary of the Chhatak Youth Organisation, and a trustee of Dartford Mosque. The event was held at 6 PM in the Brick Lane Jame Masjid hall in East London.
The service began with a recitation from the Holy Quran by trustee Mufti Abdul Wadud Latifi. The meeting was presided over by the organization's president, Aktar Hossain, with secretary Emdad Talukdar serving as the master of ceremonies.

During the discussion, speakers reflected on Abdul Kadir's exceptional organizational skills, social responsibility, dedication to his work, and the principles he lived by. They described him as a humble and selfless social worker who played a crucial role in community reform. They also highlighted his vision for a modern madrasa education system that seamlessly integrated Islamic and contemporary subjects.
Born in 1967 in the village of Burairgaon, part of the Gobindganj-Saidargaon Union in Chhatak sub-district, Abdul Kadir passed away at the age of 58. He is survived by his wife, son, daughter, and countless admirers.
Following the discussion, a special Milad and prayer ceremony were held at the Brick Lane Jame Masjid to pray for the departed soul of Abdul Kadir. The memorial service concluded in the mosque's hall.
