Britain is introducing the most restrictive immigration changes in recent memory. Before British citizenship, In the case of Permanent Residence Permits or Indefinite Leave to Remain, the UK residence rules apply to five consecutive years on specified visas. The home office of the country is planning to increase this period from five to eight years. Other major changes include requiring applicants to provide proof of at least two years of work or two years of study in Britain.

A Sky News investigation has revealed that there is a business of human trafficking using fake family members or spouses to bring in skilled workers. However, human trafficking from Bangladesh or the involvement of any Bangladeshi has not been found so far in this investigation. Organized crime gangs are opening recruitment agencies to lure ordinary people to Britain with the promise of visas and jobs in the UK in exchange for huge sums of money.
Indian Govt wants to make sedition law more draconian

The sedition law, Section 124A of the Indian Penal Code, has been under abeyance since May 2022, following directions from the Supreme Court. The law commission has recommended that the law be retained, but with stricter punishments. The Congress has accused the BJP government of planning to use the law to silence dissent ahead of the general elections.
