Bangladeshi Journalist's in London stand for protect journalists On Sunday (June 25), Bangladeshi journalists held a meeting and human chain in London demanding an exemplary trial of the murder of journalist Gholam Rabbani Nadeem, an end to torture of journalists nationwide and the cancellation of the Digital Security Act. UK-Bangla Press Club, an organization of journalists working in Bangla media in the United Kingdom, organized the program at Altab Ali Park in East London. Former president KM Abu Taher Chowdhury, veteran freedom fighter Mohammad Mostafa, Enam Chowdhury, Khan Jamal Nurul Islam, Arif Al Mahfuz, Shamshul Islam Sumeal, Zubair Ahmed, Zaman Ahmed Siddiqui gave speeches in the gathering under the chairmanship of the organization's president Reza Ahmad Faisal Chowdhury Shoeb and under the direction of general secretary Saidul Islam. The speakers in the gathering said, standing outside the division of political party's, called for building public opinion for the safety of mass media and journalists.
