A prayer mahfil was held at the initiative of Press club to pray for the repose of the souls of ex-minister, four-time MP and Jandut newspaper editor late Ebadur Rahman Chowdhury and Mosammat Ambia Begum Chowdhury, mother of Reza Ahmad Faisal Chowdhury, president of UK Bangla Press Club. Khatib Maulana Nazrul Islam, Maulana Abdul Quddus of Bricklane Mosque gave a speech at this prayer meeting at a venue in East London on Thursday night.
