83,000 signatures in Britain to protect Palestinians, to be debated in Parliament

Saturday in major UK cities, including London, on behalf of the persecuted Palestinian people, Millions of people protested. After last Saturday, millions of people participated in the protest despite the rain and floods in different areas today.

Apart from Muslims, the people who participated irrespective of their religion had the sorrow of in their eyes and protest slogans in their voices. Although the major political parties in Britain are silent on the struggle for the lives of the Palestinian people, the participation of thousands of people has proved that the people of Britain have always stood up for the oppressed and deprived people.

The Met Police said more than 1,000 officers were involved in policing the London event.

Assistant commissioner Matt Twist said the Met acknowledges “strong views on these issues”, adding “we will be objective and act without fear or favour”.

In an update at 16:30 BST, the Met said the number of demonstrators in central London had gone down, with many on the march making their way home.
