Türkiye e-Visa for Bangladeshi nationals is an e-visa that allows you to visit the Republic of Türkiye for tourist or trade purposes.

You can obtain it quickly and easily by applying online. The Turkish government introduced the Türkiye e-Visa in 2013 to promote international tourism and visits.

The e-visa replaces the previous ‘sticker visa’ and offers many benefits to visitors from Bangladesh, including more competitive prices, online availability, and faster processing times.

Do Bangladeshis Need a Visa for Türkiye?

Yes, Bangladeshi nationals need a visa to enter Türkiye. According to Turkey’s visa policy, Bangladeshi tourists and business travelers must apply for electronic visas (e-Visa) online.

This online visa exempts Bangladeshis from in-person appointments at embassies and consulates.
You can easily apply for and receive an electronic visa from the comfort of your home.

Bangladeshi citizens can obtain a Turkish e-visa via any computer or device with an internet connection. Türkiye e-Visa for Bangladeshi nationals is valid for 6 months from issuance. Visitors are allowed one-time admission and her 30-day stay.

Bangladeshi nationals can use electronic visas to transit or enter Türkiye for tourism, business purposes, or by air, land, or sea.

Türkiye e-Visa Requirements for Bangladeshi Citizens

Visitors from Bangladesh must meet a few basic requirements to apply for the Turkey e-Visa online.

The following items are required to complete the application:

  • Valid passport
  • Email address
  • Credit or debit card
  • Valid visa or residence permit from a Schengen Area country, Ireland, the UK, or the US
  • Hotel reservation
  • Proof of sufficient funds ((US$50 per day)

Bangladeshi applicants must ensure their passport will be valid for at least 60 days on the date they reach Turkey.

All Turkish government communications are via email, so travelers must provide a frequently used address.

This is especially important since your Turkish e-Visa will be automatically emailed to you once issued.

There is a small processing fee to cover the cost of the e-visa. Bangladeshi travelers can cover this cost with a credit or debit card that allows online transactions.

Türkiye e-Visa Application Form for Bangladeshi Passport Holders

Bangladeshi citizens must complete a short Turkish e-Visa application form. This is an online questionnaire with straightforward questions that Bangladeshis must answer. They will be required to share the following information:

  • Personal information (full name, date of birth, citizenship)
  • Passport details (number, date of issue, date of expiry)
  • Travel plans (dates of travel, tickets, accommodation confirmation)
  • Supporting documents (The Turkish government might require some extra information)

Bangladeshis must apply for a Turkish e-visa using the same passport they will use to visit Turkey.

The e-visa is automatically linked to this passport and cannot be transferred to another travel document.

This is important for Bangladeshi nationals who may have dual citizenship or may have exchanged their original passports before traveling. Finally, travelers from some countries, including Bangladesh, should also ensure that they have additional supporting documents.

JMG-AD

Applicants from Bangladesh must ensure that all answers are correct and accurate. Once you submit the form, you cannot change your answers.

If there is any irregularity, the approval of your e-visa may be delayed.

Travelling to Türkiye with underage visitors from Bangladesh

If your visiting party includes children, then you must note that each person must arrive with their own individual e-Visa.

Parents can fill out their dependents’ form on their behalf using the same email address for communications and the same payment method.

Payment of the e-Visa processing fee for Bangladeshi applicants

Bangladeshi citizens complete the application process with the payment of the e-Visa processing fee. Most international credit and debit cards are allowed.

How Will Bangladeshis Receive their Türkiye e-Visa?

The Turkish government reviews all e-visa applications received and usually responds with a confirmation email within 24 hours.

Applicants from Bangladesh must submit the form at least 2-3 business days in advance of their trip, coinciding with the peak tourist season.

Electronic visas are available through downloadable links. Bangladeshis are advised to print a copy of their e-visa and present it to the border control officer upon arrival in Turkey.

Traveling to Türkiye with the e-Visa from Bangladesh

Bangladeshi nationals with an approved e-visa are eligible to travel to Turkey. As mentioned above, once you arrive at immigration, you will need to present your approved e-visa along with your passport to obtain authorized entry.
We recommend that you carry your e-visa with you at all times during your stay.

Bangladeshi passport holders should note that visa on arrival is not available for their nationality. You must obtain an electronic visa or alternative travel document before arrival.

Bangladeshi passport holders planning a long-term stay in Turkey or relocation for full-time employment or higher education should arrange a visit to the Turkish Embassy in Dhaka for more information.
