The price of Bangladeshi taka fell again. 1 pound in Britain is now 154.30 in Bangladeshi taka.

The pound’s all-time high against the Taka was on Tuesday (November 28) .

It is said that after talking to several money transfers in Britain, last Monday afternoon
Against the taka, the value of the pound was 153 taka. Trading started at Tk 154.30 on Tuesday morning. The record exchange rate of the money against the pound has created panic in the community.
Commenting on this matter, Mahbubur Rahman Shibulu, the owner of PBL Services Limited, a money transfer institution in London, said that today’s rate has broken all the records of the past. There has been a stir in the community seeing such high exchange rates. Even after the rate of Tk 154.30, the government is giving more incentives.

However, the depreciating value of money against the pound is a picture of the poor state of Bangladesh’s economy, which is worrying for us as Bangladeshis.
