The biennial conference and election of the Chatak Education Trust was held in the UK. The Trust’s election held at an elite venue in East London, UK.

President of the organization Nurul Islam (MBE) chaired this time, Emdad Talukder and Zainal Abedin managed.

Trustee Arman Ali, Rafiq Haider, Shakur Ali, Jamshed Ali, Shah Alam, Mujibur Rahman, Atiqur Rahman, Abdul Karim Khair, Askar Ali, Gayash Mia, Rashid Ahmed, Treasurer Atiqur Rahman Shoeb, Zakir Hossain Salim, Ali Ahmed, given speech in the discussion meeting. Abu Syed Lilu, Mahbubur Rahman etc.
Friends of trustees Atiqur Rahman, Shafiqur Rahman, former chairman Nizam Uddin, solicitor Mahbubur Rahman, Husenuzzaman Liton, were present as guests.

The 3-member management committee for the election is Chief Advisor and Chief Election Commissioner Fazal Uddin, Advisor Altafur Rahman Mojahid, Advisor Ashiqur Rahman Ashiq.
Chatak Education Trust President Akhter Hossain and Secretary Emdad Talukder were unanimously elected to form the committee. Executive Committee Treasurer Rashid Ahmed, Organizational Secretary, Md. Abu Syed Lilu along with 41 members of the new committee was announced.

Finally, prayers were offered for the souls of founder chief advisor late Gias Mia, advisor late Akhlakur Rahman Chowdhury, late Laiza Begum.

Wishing good health and long life to all present, orderly future, confidence to work for the welfare of the common people through the participation of all and expressing gratitude to all, the new president Akhter Hossain given a speech.
