As of Sunday, 51 people with coronavirus were being treated in hospital by Croydon Health Services NHS Trust, according to data. The number of patients receiving Covid-19 treatment at hospitals by 8 a.m. on January 28 increased from 48 on the same day the week before, according to data from NHS England. Across England there were 3,883 people in hospital with Covid as of January 28. Nationally, the number of hospital patients with Covid-19 has decreased by 6% in the last four weeks. The figures also show that 15 new patients with Covid were admitted to hospital in Croydon Health Services NHS Trust in the week to January 26.
