The General Secretary of UK-Bangla Press Club and London correspondent of Dainik Prothom Alo, Saidul Islam's father, Abdul Waheed, passed away some time ago (March 5) while undergoing treatment in a hospital in Sylhet. UK Bangla Press Club President Reza Ahmad Foysal Chowdhury, Acting General Secretary Fokhrul Islam Khosrue, Former President, Veteran Journalist K M Abu Taher Chowdhury, Current senior vice-President Munzer Ahmed Chowdhury, Treasurer Mahbubul Karim Suyed, Vice-President Abdur Rashid, in a joint statement they said,
