A Bangladeshi woman named Kulsuma Akhter Shiuly has lost her life after being stabbed by her husband in Bradford, a Bangladeshi-populated city in the United Kingdom. Her village house is in Bishwanath upazila of Sylhet. Akhtar Hossain, the brother of the deceased Shiuly, living in Oldham, United Kingdom, complained on Monday and said that her sister's husband Habibur Rahman Masum stabbed her with a knife in front of her 5-month-old baby son last Saturday afternoon uk time. The police later arranged for Shewley to be moved out of her own home by social services to a safe place in Bradford. But husband Masum disobeyed the police's prohibition and started following Shiuly's activities. On the day of the incident, before Iftar, Shiuly went out to buy food with her infant son. At that time, Masum, attacked Shiuly with a sharp knife. Akhter Hossain, the brother of the deceased Shiuly, has asked for everyone's cooperation to arrest his sister's killer. Det Ch Insp Atkinson said the death of a young woman in "such shocking circumstances" has caused "considerable concern" in the community, adding that residents could expect to see more police officers in Bradford.
