Corbyn Caught on Mic: 'A Load of Nonsense' Before Swearing In
As MPs were sworn in to office following the general election of 2024, Jeremy Corbyn was overheard speaking into a House of Commons microphone.
Marie Rimmer MP was contacted by the Islington North reporter, who gave her a lighthearted lesson on how to correctly read her lines.
After that, he said, "This is such a load of nonsense."
On July 9, the Commons welcomed 335 new members, including Lib Dem, Green, and Reform UK members in addition to the bulk of Labour MPs. This was a significant shake-up for UK politics.
