The anti-quota blockade has been going on since July 1st. it is said that this movement has spread across the country.  Until the abolition of the quota system in 2018, 56 percent of government jobs were reserved for various quotas. Among them, 30 percent quota was for children of freedom fighters, 10 percent for women, 10 percent for districts, 5 percent for minority groups, 1 percent for disabled. Bangladesh General Student Rights Protection Council started a movement in 2018 to demand 10 percent by reforming this quota.

At that time, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, "Students do not want quota  system,  They protested,  As a result, the quota system has been cancelled,  There is nothing to discuss or fuss about। I said no.”

A committee has been formed with the Cabinet Secretary to implement it so that it can be implemented। Then on October 4 of that year, the government issued a notification to complete the quota system. 

However, in 2021, when the children of some freedom fighters filed a High Court, the quota came back again through a verdict on June 5. 

After that, the students started a movement on July 1 to cancel the quota,  The issue of freedom fighter quota came up again and again in the movement on quota,  This 30 percent quota is basically a headache or problem, There are many topics, disagreements, discussions about freedom fighter quota.

 Freedom fighter quota was introduced by Bangabandhu in 1972,  Later, its caliber or facilities increased from time to time. 

Did the freedom fighters who participated in the great liberation war of 1971 go to war for quota or allowance or to enjoy state benefits? Certainly not.  They did not know when the country would be independent, whether they would be able to return to a free country or not, or whether they would be alive and when they would be martyred, They risked their lives only for a free and independent country. 

As an independent state, Bangladesh is responsible for the debt relief, according to me and I think Bangabandhu introduced this quota system for freedom fighters and their children. 

Students who are study to Dhaka University or urban life, who have acquired education in private universities do not know, Where is the problem for you to accept if a boy from a remote area passes the written exam with merit and gets a job in the freedom fighter pet quota? We have seen the poor freedom fighters who have come from the area, what inhuman labor they have done to their children, at the end of the day when their children have been appointed to second, third class jobs, we have seen the joy and happiness of the people.

In newspapers, I often see that 1 percent and 2 percent have passed the university entrance exam in some unit, The recruitment process is canceled due to lack of qualified candidates, these are published in the media। I saw the news of the biggest question paper leak, then when I see any official, the first question that will come to my mind is the real genius or the genius of the leaked question?  What talent are you coming to fight with ? Will you save the country and the nation by getting a job with the knowledge of book memorization ?It is not possible that you can become a big matiur or Benazir, 

If you can't be tolerant, don't benefit others, this education is nothing but a bribe-taking money machine, real geniuses never expect quota,not afraid competition . It is his talent he must achive him goal.

I know many people who have won in life by facing various discriminations, some of achieved very top positions worldwide. 

Those of you who are doing this movement, you see in front of your eyes that after getting a job, people around you are now going to Patiban, not crores, but millions and billions। You can't control that greed.

Talents are not afraid of competition, Quota system is more or less in all countries of the world 

A total of 13 thousand 671 people gave the written exam in the 43rd BCS exam। Only 9 thousand 840 people have passed the written exam and  only 2 thousand 163 people will be appointed through oral examination from these 9 thousand 840 people who have passed the written examination। And the quota will be shared with in  this number.

The 56 percent quota that is being talked about repeatedly is basically that hundreds of candidates are staying inside it. Those who will come to the quota will compete with all the students and come to the final recruitment ।

I agree on this one place of the 2018 movement, that was ,No special examination of any kind can be conducted in the quota (in some cases ordinary students cannot apply for jobs only those included in the quota can).

Many of our friends have taken advantage of the quota to get job recommendations.  They were really talented, maybe Kota helped his recruitment process a little. And I got proof of their responsibility towards the country। With their patriotism, I saw the oath of responsibility as a child of the freedom fighter. Time will tell the rest.  How much true or false?  Because Benazir Matiur Gong has scared us!

Adopted as "a common standard of achievement for all people and all nations", the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights in 1948 pledged to recognize UDHR nations as "free and equal in dignity and rights" to all people "regardless of nationality, place of residence, gender, national or ethnic.

Quota system exists all over the world, even after fulfilling the basic rights of all citizens, every place in a country like UK, be it housing, medical, education everywhere, apply or fill any form, there is a separate column, it is mentioned whether you have ever been in the British Army. Or not? If they are given priority in every service of the country, their children and families are given priority.

The colorful history of student movement in Bangladesh was everything from education movement to political movement. Common people have been heavily involved always in those movements,  Because they have agitated for the common people, for the liberation of the people, for their rights, They were not really talented!  If he was talented, he could sit and eat from generation to generation with wealth of thousands of crores of rupees!  

Language movement is one of the examples of student movement in the history of Bangladesh. In 1952, Dhaka's students started a movement to make Bengali the state language.  On 21 February, Bengali was recognized as the state language as a result of the bloody student movement. 

1962 education movement – against Sharif Education Commission – led Chhatra League and Student Union there. In 1969, Bangladeshi students staged a mass uprising against Pakistani rule, Students played a prominent role in this movement and it served as the pioneer of Bangladesh's freedom struggle.

During the liberation war of Bangladesh, students played an important role in the organization of Mukti Bahini. They participated in the freedom struggle against Pakistani rule.

In the anti-dictatorship movement of 1990, students protested for the downfall of Ershad Sarkar. Students directly participated in this movement and brought down the Ershad government.

The 2013 Gonojagoron  Mancha also had a huge participation of Students. 

In 2018, after the death of two students in Dhaka, students protested for road safety. The movement received massive public support and forced the government to ensure road safety.

No movement of the past has taken place in court. But the quota movement has rolled ।. That means there are both sides and opponents. Now those who are agitating have to deal with the court legally.

Why repeated rants about the quota? A kind of tendency to abuse the freedom fighters is observed again and again.  What will Bangladesh do with so much talent? It would not have been known if this movement did not have so many talents in Bangladesh! 

The court ruled in a case of war criminal Moinuddin that there may be no chance to call him a murderer in the pages of history। If these talented people had pressured the government to fight this case internationally,  I would have been happy.  if the talented had entered the field against corruption, against the corrupt people, against the question paper leak, I understood that the talented patriotic generation will take the country forward. But unfortunately, we got a bunch of BCS greedy generation.
