Eighty qualified individuals with low incomes have had their Umrah expenses paid for by the Dubai Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation (AMAF) as part of its humanitarian and philanthropic objectives. In order to support the 'Umrah of a Lifetime' program that Dar Al Ber Society has been organizing for the past few years, Dubai Awqaf gave the society around Dh100,000. The goal of this donation is to pay the costs of Umrah for those who are in need and those with low incomes who have never completed Umrah before. The trip lasts for seven days to perform the rituals and visit the Holy sites in Makkah and Madinah.
The Dar Al Ber Society bore the costs of accommodation for the beneficiaries of the charitable initiative in hotels in Makkah and Madinah, in addition to the costs of issuing visas to visit Saudi Arabia for them in preparation for performing Umrah rituals and visiting the Holy sites.
