Keir Starmer doesn't want you to join these dots if you voted to leave the EU

Keir Starmer

Many believe that leaving the EU was the right choice, freeing the UK from the grip of an overbearing institution.

However, Sir Keir Starmer appears determined to disregard the democratic decisions of 2016 and 2019, which clearly mandated a swift departure from the EU.

Despite his repeated assurances—and those of his allies—that there will be no return to the single market, customs union, or free movement, these promises are increasingly unconvincing.

Reports of a 100-member team operating within the Cabinet Office have fueled speculation that the ultimate goal is to inch closer to Brussels, paving the way for eventual re-entry into the EU. It’s a calculated strategy: move closer, reset the relationship, and then argue that rejoining makes sense—simple as that.

Adding to the controversy is a recently "leaked" document that has sparked fresh concerns. According to this report, the EU has set conditions for a post-Brexit trade deal, including requirements for the UK to adhere to its rules.

The document, seen by *The Telegraph*, also claims the EU expects Britain to allow free movement for students and maintain its current fishing rights beyond 2026, raising fears of a backdoor return to EU dominance.

The PM has been punting a "reset" in relations between Britain and Brussels since he came to power in July. The EU seem to think now is the "right opportunity" to press its case for concessions following the "change in government", calling for a "reset in relations".

This is unequivocally evident according to the 19-page "classified" document. An EU official familiar with the matter said... "If you're not at the table, you're on the menu... and Keir's turkey is stuffed". Wow, demanding and contemptuous at the same time, and we are expected to take this by being treated like a doormat?

Topping the list for EU governments requirements is a "youth experience scheme". This would grant UK visas to students aged eighteen to thirty allowing them to live and work in the UK, to INCLUDE free healthcare AND subsidised education. That's right, we get to pay for their healthcare and tuition, Possums.

Then we are being bludgeoned with demands to allow the status quo to remain the same for EU fishing access to UK waters. This was of course all entirely predictable, although we are expected to abandon any efforts at marine conservation too since we are apparently discriminating against Danes and Swedes.

We are being taken to court because the Government recently angered European leaders by prohibiting Sand Eel fishing in some waters around Dogger Bank in the North Sea, for example. The EU maintains that any such closures must respect "proportionality", further indicating their concession expectations.

Factoring in full "alignment" of veterinary health, the EU also demands we re-entrench significant elements of EU law BACK onto our statute books and to generally submit to the dictates of the ECJ etc. There is nothing here remotely resembling a "reset" or improvement of the Brexit deal that Two-Tier said he would deliver. The EU expects nothing less than total capitulation if we are stupid enough to accept "what they offer"!

As we have seen since Two-Tier won very much less than convincingly back in July, he will trot out the porkies left and right if it suits HIS agenda to do so. Despite bleating about his dedication to public service whether we voted for his party or not he will undoubtedly follow the path of what's best for him and bleep the rest of us!

Bemoaning a flawed parting of the ways with the original withdrawal agreement is an entirely self-serving exercise of political grandstanding. The subsequent Windsor framework adopted by Rishi Sunak fails miserably to represent any kind of "reset". Any hint that is an improvement for and advantageous to the UK is total horse dump!

As an independent nation, permanent member of the UN security council, and a G7 country our status becomes virtually meaningless in the face of such surrender of sovereignty. That the EU should feel emboldened enough to have brazenly covered 19 pages with such drivel is tacitly indicative of a pending Labour accession to their demands.

Since when does an independent sovereign nation subject itself to the legal code of another jurisdiction? Since when does a maritime nation surrender its marine resources to be effectively administered by foreign entities? Answer, NEVER! Or it never ever bleeping well should!

But perhaps most obscene and egregious of all is the stated EU position on immigration in this scurrilous piece of nonsense. "The EU doesn't want any agreement that will make it easier for the UK to send illegal immigrants [back] that have crossed the Channel to Britain."

They do bleep all as it is despite our paying millions to the French for assistance in preventing cross channel small boat smuggling people into our country uninvited.

The leaked negotiating document makes clear that most EU member states don't favour a returns agreement. They do "magnanimously" suggest, however, that more intelligence should be shared between Britain and the bloc to smash the smuggling gangs.

Anyone reading this bleep should be outraged at being taken for a fool. Moreover, this is an almost verbatim repeat of a Two-Tier soundbite in reference to "gang smashing".

Here is yet more evidence of our inexorable descent into terminal mediocrity and irrelevance. This appalling government of incompetent nincompoops are a bunch of woke Wallys who are every bit as stupid as they look.
