Munzer, whose full name is Munzer Ahead Choudhury, is a young man who is energetic and enthusiastic about his vision of journalism. I got to know him when I visited our home country, Bangladesh, in 2009 and met him in Moulvibazar with some of my best friends who are also journalists.

Beloved Moulvibazar is my birthplace, a great place where I have many memories of my childhood and youth that I vividly remember. I am missing my beloved Moulvibazar, my birthplace, as I have been living in England for a long time.

Munzer hails from Moulvibazar, our shared hometown, living in England and somehow we reconnected here. As he is the London representative of Bangla Tribune online News Network, Munzer often calls me for various reasons: advice, opinions, and information for his writings.

Gradually, we became more familiar and connected. He is now one of my junior friends who loves and respects me as an inspiration for his work. I feel very happy to see his work and enthusiasm.

In Bangladesh, he made his mark in various print media outlets. After relocating to London, England, he continued his journalistic journey with Channel-i Europe as a news editor. Journalism is not just a profession for him; it’s his passion and life’s vision.

The UK is home to over seven hundred thousand British Bangladeshis, representing the fourth generation of the Bengali population. This new generation has firmly established itself across diverse sectors, from kitchens to the House of Commons and House of Lords.

Despite the presence of several Bengali TV channels and newspapers, there is a notable absence of an English-language newspaper catering to the new generation, which maintains strong cultural and historical ties. His visionary approach to journalism and his enduring ambition led him to establish an English-language network in the UK for the global Bangladeshi community. This motivation culminated in the creation of the online daily newspaper, Dazzling Dawn.

Today marks the first anniversary of Dazzling Dawn. Launching and sustaining the site has been a challenge, but his aspirations and dedication have made it a success. His role as a developer and entrepreneur of this online news platform has forged a significant online presence, allowing communities worldwide to engage with stories of achievement, views, opinions, community news, and ideas.

Dazzling Dawn stands as the sole English daily regularly published online by a young, energetic visionary who pours his talent, time, and effort into his deeply cherished passion. As readers, our support is crucial to keep this initiative thriving. We can contribute by sharing, reading, and writing for the platform.
