The Hon’ble President of Romania, H.E. Mr. Ilie Bolojan, addressed Ambassadors and representatives of international organizations based in Bucharest at a special briefing session held at the Presidential Palace. The event focused on Romania’s key domestic and international priorities, including political stability, economic reforms, and alignment with EU and NATO policies.

H.E. Ms. Shahnaz Gazi, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Romania, attended the programme, marking a significant moment in her diplomatic engagement. It was a rare privilege for Ambassador Shahnaz Gazi to meet the Hon’ble President just a day after presenting her credentials.

During the session, President Bolojan personally greeted each Ambassador and exchanged pleasantries. When meeting the President, Ambassador Shahnaz Gazi expressed her appreciation for the insightful briefing and commended his speech. She emphasized that Bangladesh and Romania share common values on global issues, particularly in promoting peace, sovereignty, and multilateralism—an observation warmly acknowledged by the President.
