The BNP had golden opportunities after 5 August 2024 like during 1/11 Awami League came to power due to failure of the BNP/jamaati government during 2001-2007 and 1/11 Awami League became leading seats to inherit and winnings the general election in December 2008.
Similar way after 17 years away from power BNP 2nd largest political parties got every chance winning election and coming to power but from the beginning of the interim government took Oats on 8 August 2024 which BNP never did their homework carefully and started panicking lack confidence and their field level leaders and supporters started land, property and business capturing and extrition all over the Bangladesh but dispite again and again acting chairman Tarik Rahman request and worning no one follow directions of his leadership that is due to some of top ranking leaders within BNP in Bangladesh on the field didn't do enough work to ensuring their leaders message go through their filed level BNP leaders and supporters.
The BNP general secretary lacks confidence and keeps acting like lost control of leadership and started changing goalposts again and again and people losing interest in his capacity and ability of leadership as general secretary! So, is the BNP in danger?
How is BNP, in danger? Will Dr. Muhammad Yunus contest the election? Is Dr. Muhammad Yunus lying?
So why is BNP afraid? Do you think Sheikh Hasina's government fell because of BNP? They had this power? Was BNP so strong? Why does BNP want Awami League to support them in the election despite all the torture they suffered from Awami League? Why are they busy rehabilitating them? Is it just money? Or is it Indian pressure and relations? Do the people of the country understand the issue?
While searching for the answers to these questions, I can make some assumptions, namely
A strange equation has taken a new turn in Bangladeshi politics—Dr. Muhammad Yunus. Dr. Muhammad Yunus is stronger than a single party, this power is of the people, this power is of honesty, this power is of patriotism.
Dr. Muhammad Yunus will not lie. He is a first-rate international figure; if he lies or misbehaves, he will appear small to the world.
He is not a crooked leader, a nomination seller or a person involved in the election business.
No one from his family will do politics in this country. Dr. Yunus did not come to do politics.
If any other leader wants to talk to any leader of the world, then he has to make an appointment; where Dr. Yunus is able to communicate directly.
Dr. Yunus understands that there is no alternative to good deeds. As the elections get further and further away, the political parties will become reckless. They will behave like madmen. It is noteworthy how Dr. Muhammad Yunus is currently putting all political parties in danger through good deeds. Until the elections, he will do things that no party has done before or will be able to do in the future while in power. For example:
- Reducing air fares
- Controlling the prices of daily necessities
- Bringing back smuggled money
- Taking action against syndicates
- Controlling crime
For this reason, he is gaining a place in the hearts of the people.
As time goes by, Dr. Yunus's popularity is increasing. Whichever party is demanding elections, the people are expressing their displeasure with them and their popularity is decreasing.
When Sheikh Hasina was in power, I had given a proposal to the Awami League general secretary that Dr Yunus must called by prime minister of Bangladesh and asking him to take responsibility of post of business envoy for the Bangladesh government but it was not Sheikh Hasina's cup of tea.
Currently, the BNP is also creating the same situation. The BNP could have used Dr Yunus for the interest of people and Bangladesh to grow powerful in this region and world level.
Dr Yunus discharged Mrs Zia from the Jail sentence and gave her honour to invite her to one the eye catching events with Dr Yunus and some of his advisors.
Dr. Yunus must understand that he has already become an enemy of the BNP.
Therefore, in a short time, he can take steps like playing an international level ‘T-20’, which will cause great danger to others.
The people are already sensing—in which direction the country is going, who wants what. The current political situation is quite unstable. The people are now looking for someone who can do something for the country without the illusion of power. Although some are calling for a movement to remove Dr. Yunus, many are preparing a movement in favor of Dr. Yunus to maintain their position. And this party will not be small for Dr. Muhammad Yunus, it is also quite certain.
Dr. Yunus is not only a priceless asset of Bangladesh, but also of the world, for whom the entire Sheikh family and the Awami League are suffering the consequences of the insult. Once in a thousand years, a leader is born who embodies truth, honesty and correct values. It is not an attempt to stop him, but rather to welcome his philosophy and work.
Let us all together make this dream of change a reality. Dr. Muhammad Yunus is not power-hungry, he is almost at the end of his life. Standing very close to death, in the sole attempt to change the country a little, this great man is trying tirelessly to give a little touch of happiness to every person in the country, who has nothing to ask for, nothing to get. We can oppose him for our own interests, but it is important to make some concessions or agree on some good things for the sake of the country. It is not unknown to the people that no political party, after coming to power, does not work for itself or its family, but only prays, fasts and serves the country.
