Man Fatally Stabbed Outside 5-Star Hotel in London’s Knightsbridge

A man in his 30s has died after being stabbed outside a 5-star hotel in one of London’s most affluent areas.

The Metropolitan Police said the victim was found with stab wounds on Seville Street in Knightsbridge, West London, on Wednesday evening.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 9:24 pm, and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attempted to treat him. However, despite their efforts, the man was pronounced dead shortly after they arrived.

The stabbing took place outside the Park Tower hotel, where rooms cost around £600 per night. The hotel is situated near Harrods department store and Hyde Park.

Police have cordoned off the area as investigations continue. No arrests have been made at this stage.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said:

"At 21:24 hours on Wednesday, 9 July, officers, the London Ambulance Service, and London’s Air Ambulance attended reports of a stabbing on Seville Street, Knightsbridge. One victim, a man in his 30s, was located at the scene with stab wounds and was treated by paramedics. Sadly, despite their best efforts, he was pronounced dead shortly after their arrival. Emergency services remain at the location, and a crime scene has been established. Several lines of enquiry are ongoing. At this time, no arrests have been made.

The police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to come forward. Members of the public can contact police on 101, quoting reference CAD 8521/09JUL.
