An informal meeting and exchange of greetings was held at a venue in East London on Thursday evening in honor of MA Salam, senior journalist of Greater Sylhet, president of Moulvibazar Press Club, who is visiting the UK. The meeting preside by freedom fighter MA Mannan and Conducted by Munzer Ahmad Chowdhury. Freedom Fighter Commander Abul Kashem Khan, Harun ur Roshid, Freedom Fighter Mohammad Mostafa, Sixties student leader Abdul Qayyum Qaysar, KM Abu Taher Chowdhury,Ali Zaman Aurangzeb Bulbul, Satyabrat Das Swapan, Fakhrul Islam Khashroo, Syed Mizanur Rahman, Journalist Afsar Uddin, Khaled Masud Roni given speech on the meeting. In the meeting, the speakers gave speeches highlighting the illustrious career of MA Salam who has contributed to journalism continuously for the last 60 years.
