Germany has issued 1 lakh 24 thousand 625 Family Reunion visas till December 12, 2023.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs gave this information in response to a question from Clara Buenger, a member of the German Parliament Bundestag a copy of the reply was obtained by the German news agency DPA.

Among the visas issued in 2023 were 10,570 refugees, 12,677 persons receiving subsidiary protection and 254 family members of immigrants who received asylum applications.
Subsidiary protection benefits are granted to migrants who have not received refugee protection or whose asylum application has not been accepted, but whose life is at risk in their home country.
Apart from this, 1 lakh 1 thousand 734 ordinary family reunification visas have been given This visa is given to those who are in other categories except refugees in Germany For example, visas have been given to the family members of 12,500 people living in Germany with Turkish citizenship
Sometimes it takes a long time to get a Reunion Visa appointment For example, German embassies in Dhaka, Islamabad and Lagos have to wait more than a year for appointments, according to the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
