Khaleda Zia's doctor and BNP standing committee member, Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain, said that Khaleda Zia is hopefully able to return her son's London house on Friday night. After returning from hospital, her treatment will continue under the supervision of Dr. Patrick Kennedy and Dr. Jennifer Cross. He expressed hope that if the situation continues to improve, Khaleda Zia will return to Bangladesh soon. He also requested to remember her in prayers to everyone for her continued recovery. Other doctors and UK BNP leaders were present at the briefing at 10:30 pm London time on Thursday. He also said that no decision has been taken yet for her liver transplant. Her treatment will continue through medication. It is learnt that preparations have been made to keep BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia at her son Tarique Rahman's residence in London's Kingston for further treatment. Preparations have been made to ensure that she can receive treatment from home and that doctors and nurses are provided with facilities. A source has learned that considering Khaleda Zia's age and physical condition, the chances of her undergoing a liver transplant are low for now.
