Weekend Road Closures on M25, Dartford Crossing & A12: July 18–20

Drivers in Essex should be aware of several road closures happening this weekend, as confirmed by National Highways England. Key routes including the A12, M25, and Dartford Crossing will be affected.

Friday, July 18

  • A12:
    No closures are scheduled for the A12 on this day.

  • Dartford Crossing:
    No closures are scheduled for the Dartford Crossing on this day.

  • M25:
    On the M25 anti-clockwise, the carriageway will be closed between Junctions 29 and 28.
    This closure will occur from 11pm on Friday until 5.30am on Saturday to allow gantry works to be carried out.

Saturday, July 19

  • A12:
    No closures are scheduled for the A12 on this day.

  • Dartford Crossing:
    The west tunnel on the A282 northbound will be closed for maintenance between 10pm on Saturday and 5am on Sunday.

  • M25:
    Again, the M25 anti-clockwise carriageway between Junctions 29 and 28 will be closed.
    This closure will run from 10pm on Saturday until 5.30am on Sunday for gantry works.

Sunday, July 20

  • A12:
    No closures are scheduled for the A12 on this day.

  • Dartford Crossing:
    The west tunnel on the A282 northbound will be closed again for maintenance between 10pm on Sunday and 5am on Monday.

  • M25:
    The M25 anti-clockwise carriageway between Junctions 29 and 28 will also be closed from 10.30pm on Sunday until 5.30am on Monday for gantry works.
