A 5.8-magnitude earthquake struck off the east coast of Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula on Friday, according to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
The quake’s epicenter was located about 67 kilometers east of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky at a depth of 69 kilometers and occurred at 10:11 UTC.
No immediate reports of damage or casualties have been received.
