5.4 million worshippers in Prophet's Mosque in one week

The Prophet's Mosque, Islam’s second holiest site located in Medina, Saudi Arabia, welcomed 5.4 million worshippers and visitors last week, as reported by the state agency overseeing the site. Among these visitors, 376,765 Muslims prayed at Al Rawda Al Sharifa, the site of Prophet Mohammed's (Peace Be Upon Him) tomb.

Umrah pilgrims urged to use only authorized barbers

For health reasons, it is recommended that Muslims who are doing Umrah or a shorter pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia deal with licensed barbers after the conclusion of their ceremonies at the Grand Mosque, the holiest place in Islam in Mecca.
