Saudi crown prince grateful for Bangladeshi migrants’ contribution to economy

“He mentioned with gratitude that nearly 2.8 million Bangladeshis are making significant contributions to his country’s economy with their hard work and due diligence,” according to a foreign ministry statement today.

In 1976, Bangladesh formally permitted its citizens to travel to Saudi Arabia, which has since grown to be Bangladesh’s largest labour market and a significant source of remittances.

According to the statement, PM Hasina’s meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman was very successful.

“Prince Salman praised the Bangladesh prime minister for her inspirational leadership in achieving remarkable socioeconomic development in Bangladesh over the recent years,” the foreign ministry said.

Bin Salman said Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia would work together to upgrade participation in all conceivable areas and guaranteed Bangladesh prime minister of his full back in this respect.

Prince Salman communicated his fulfillment with the progressing venture made by Saudi speculators in different ventures in Bangladesh, counting the Patenga terminal, Payra port and ACUWA Renewable Energy project.

He too expressed gratitude toward Hasina for supporting Saudi Arabia as the have of the 2030 World Cup.

The PM praised the Saudi crown prince for setting out on and accomplishing a number of social changes in Saudi Arabia and for accomplishing various discretionary triumphs in later times.

She too welcomed the Saudi prince to visit Bangladesh. Prince Salman acknowledged her welcome and communicated his readiness to embrace a visit to Bangladesh.
