The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has introduced an innovative service to simplify this process. This groundbreaking initiative enhances convenience, efficiency, and accessibility during one of the busiest times of the year.

To reduce congestion and improve access, five designated service points near Marwa now allow pilgrims to complete Fak El Ehram swiftly and hygienically. Mobile carts equipped with sterilized tools move through these areas, adjusting to crowd sizes and minimizing wait times.

Additionally, trained professionals manage the service, maintaining high hygiene standards while efficiently guiding pilgrims through the process. This mobility ensures that more worshippers can complete their rituals without unnecessary delays.

Ramadan attracts millions of Umrah pilgrims to Makkah, making it difficult to find a barber near the mosque without facing long queues or traveling to distant locations. For those unfamiliar with the city, this can be particularly challenging.

The introduction of mobile Fak El Ehram services directly addresses these concerns, allowing pilgrims to transition seamlessly from their rituals without logistical worries. This initiative not only reduces congestion around the mosque but also enhances hygiene and safety by providing a controlled environment for the process.

Currently being tested during Ramadan, the success of this service could lead to its permanent implementation. Over the years, the Grand Mosque has continuously introduced improvements to accommodate growing numbers of pilgrims.

If well received, the Fak El Ehram service could extend beyond Ramadan, becoming a standard feature for both Umrah and Hajj. Future enhancements may include additional service points, improved mobility solutions, or even a digital booking system to manage wait times more efficiently.
