A Spanish modeling agency has announced that it has created the country's first AI influencer who can earn up to 10,000 euros (about $11,000) a month as a model. Euronews reported the news based on an interview with Rubén Cruz, founder of Barcelona-based modeling agency The Clueless, which founded the influencer. AI-generated female Aitana Her Lopez has pink hair and she is 25 years old. Her account has 124,000 followers on Instagram. Cruz told Euronews that she decided to design Lopez after struggling to work with real-life models and influencers. “We started analyzing the way we work and realized that many projects were put on hold or cancelled due to issues outside of our control. In many cases, it was due to design "It wasn't because of the issue, it was because of the influencers and models," he said. "We did it so that we could make a better living and not be dependent on other people who have egos, who have manias, or who just want to make a lot of money by posing," he added. At the time of publication, Lopez had 56 photos shared on her Instagram account. A photo of her in lingerie was also posted on Fanvue, a subscription platform similar to OnlyFans. Her latest Instagram stories show her drinking cocktails and hitting the gym on a night out. The image was created by the agency using Photoshop. According to Euronews, Ms. Cruz said she had a "personality" and was created "based on what society likes best." She is described as a "strong and determined woman," and "a passionate Scorpio," with a love for video games and fitness, in a post on agency's website. She can make just over 1,000 euros per advert and earns anywhere from 3,000 euros to 10,000 euros a month. Business Insider's Marta Biino recently reported that the number of AI models was rising and that they were finding success on social media and adult content platforms. Some examples include Emily Pellegrini, an AI influencer, who has just over 100,000 followers on Instagram and is also present on Fanvue. Fanvue's CEO, Will Monange, told Biino that he believed AI-generated characters would thrive and soon be as widespread as human creators.
