According to Hamas, "no matter how long the aggression lasts and regardless of its form," Palestinians would continue to resist the ground invasion of Rafah and other areas of Gaza.

With an additional 100,000 evading Israel's ground invasion on the north, over 630,000 Palestinians have already left Rafah in the south.
