I wish Dazzling Dawn will have a bright and long future to lead the community.
Daily Dazzling Dawn is celebrating it's first birthday. Congratulations and I hope it will celebrate many more years to come. It is a very hard time for any newspaper to survive in this current financial climate. In this digital age it's very easy to produce an online newspaper or publish an online version of a print newspaper but it is very hard to carry on with a good reputation and survive the financial burden.
What is it that Dazzling Dawn is doing to survive? Has Dazzling Dawn done any year ending survey to see which way they are going? Who is reading it, how many young people are reading it and why they are reading it? For a newspaper to survive in this age and time because "it's in English" is not a reason.
If it is a status symbol for the Directors and Editor, that is fine but how long they can survive this financial burden. If it's working fine then carry on doing whatever you are doing right, but make sure you have young people following/ reading your newspaper. Are they involved with it? Make sure you listen to them even though sometimes you may not agree with them. Give them a page to edit for their own interests. If you are unable to involve them you will be in trouble. Focus on their social/ economical demands, and listen to the communities concerns.
I wish Dazzling Dawn will have a bright and long future to lead the community.
