Tower Hamlets -Sylhet Twining Accord delegation from the Tower Hamlets Council where at same time the Onna King MP and Her PA Rushnara Ali current MP of Bethnal Green & Bow visiting Bangladesh!  The first time Rushnara Ali got on the limelight in Sylhet visit in December 1997 where as a MP’s PA never given opportunity to give speech where their MP is a chief guest! As far as our Sylhet community in first time in history found a Sylheti person working with the British MP that was great achievement for them. Almost everyone was proud of Rushnara Ali in first time in history and first Bengali working for an British MP 

In December 1997 Tower Hamlet - Sylhet Twining delegation to Bangladesh! 

I led a team of eight people delegation to Bangladesh consisting of three Councillors, three council officers and two  business representatives from our community.  Our delegation all main work completed return to Dhaka number of follow up meetings with the World Bank and Asian Development Bank (ADB) and got called from Onna King MP who was visiting Bangladesh that time, I told Onna King MP can visit her to her hotel but she told me that she is going come to Whitehouse Hotel where our delegation was staying in present of Tower Hamlet Mayor Joe Ramanoof, Cllr Soyfyl Alom, Kiven Whittle head of Regeneration of Tower Hamlet Council and myself where Onna King MP came with her PA Rushanara Ali current MP of Bethnal Green & Bow of Tower Hamlet. Onna King MP asked me to go to Sylhet with her but Onna King MP didn't ask anyone else where Cllr Sotlydlful Alom try his best, but Onna King MP did not think about anyone else where I asked Kevin Whittle head of Regeneration that is there is a need for me to stay in Dhaka and can he manage without me and his reply was he can manage all follow-up meetings with the World Bank and Asian Development Bank ADB and others.

So, I agree to go to Sylhet with Onna King MP and Rushanara Ali current MP of Bethnal Green & Bow and next day we three plus Ali Bhai of Bombay Shree shop in Whitechapel who was in Bangladesh ask me that he can book his ticket for next day flight and I told him why not. So , we people fly to Sylhet the next day and Rushanara Ali made arrangements with Sylhet Circuit House for three of us staying in Sylhet for four days. Where I asked Ashan Ali Bablu Bhai to organise a reception for Onna King MP on behalf of ourselves but rest of her visit and meeting and reception were already arranged by Rushanara Ali before going to Sylhet that is including meeting with a NGO in Sylhet, Biswanth Upozila, visit to Rushnara Ali and Sylhet Club reception.

At the Sylhet club reception where late Barrister Nurul Islam on his speech he made remarks by saying that we Sylheti proud of Rushnara Ali and she going to be first Bengali MP British Parliament but I was thinking that where did he get that idea from but after lots of political games in Bethnal Green &  Bow where Onna King MP lost the election in 2005 to expelled MP George Galloway who seen an opportunity after Iraqi war where Onna King MP supported the war as front bench MP supporting Prime Minister Tony Blair but Benthal Green &  Bow constituency labour party was against the Iraqi war and Onna King MP become victims of circumstance and lost to the opportunist Gorge Galloway who infected virus within our community and teach how to do rigging in a both local and national elections are Tower Hamlet Bengali community got dividend and East London Mosque ELM and outfit became main political force in Tower Hamlet.

In 2010 Rushnara Ali got opportunity and the local Labour party selected Rushnara Ali to fight against infected viruses George Galloway who made enough damage to our community and divided our community and made a mess where unwanted people got opportunity become involved with politics and becoming councillors from infected viruses party but that didn’t last for long but our community division remains untagged where the so-called convicted war criminal like Chowdhury MoinUddin got upper hand using East London Mosque ELM, London Muslim Centre LMC, Muslim Aids doing anti Bangladesh activities setup their sub-office in Uttara Dhaka. They didn’t stop there war criminal Chowdhury MoinUddin play crucial role after labour party was divided over mayoral candidates issues after Lutfur Rahman was selected by using infected viruses concept where other mayoral candidates made complaint to Central labour party with proof of evidence and Lutfur Rahman candidacy was declare invalid where Helal Uddin Abbas became the labour party candidates and Lutfur Rahman stood as independent candidates getting backing from convicted war criminal establisemt and some so-called businessman opportunists funding Lutfur Rahman election campaign and in return they reward by Lutfur Rahman after got elected.

However, it was gorge Galloway who opened gate by infected virus within our community and that is become indirectly affect on our younger generation to getting a good jobs which nowadays majority mainstream establishment don't trust Bengali people like before. The corruption within the Tower Hamlet Council and currently the number of news on corruption within the East London Mosque ELM that is going to have an effect on the Bangladeshi community in the UK. Same group of people who has been supporting Gorge Galloway and current mayor of Tower Hamlet that is including East London Mosque ELM and their other outfits where many Bengali lawyer involved with fake and doggy care visa and students visa by charging innocent people of Sylhet 30-40 lac taka that is created bad image for our community where thousand of innocent people become in a trap and British government taken rustic action against thousand of Sylheti student and fake care visa people and their family where they and their became in trap by spending so much money to sending to the UK in first place by selling property and land and browning from family, relatives and majority under pressure from lander to paying back the money and where their loved ones struggling to survive in the UK, there is no Job or proper place to sleep and uncertain about their future. 

After 4 July 2024 British general election and hopefully labour party coming to power there is hope for at least some of those students and people gone to the under care visa program where Rushanara Ali MP gets elected again and she is going to become first Bengali Secretary of Statev  (full minister) under labour government where Bengali community and Bangladesh going to benefit from Rushanara Ali MP and other three Bengali MP after re-elected that is including Tulip Siddiqui going to be Joiner cabinet minister as well! 

Now is the time all Bengali communities in Bethnal Green &  Bow must be proudly voting for Rushanara Ali MP to see her becoming Secretary of State ( Full minister) after 4 July 2024 where so much damage was done by some opportunists so-called people for their own benefits by sacking blood of innocent people! So, under Labour government many can improve by putting things right by the number of our Bengali MPs!
