  • Starmer criticizes non-deportation of arrivals from countries like Bangladesh

The primary topic of discussion of the debate was immigration, with both leaders being questioned about their plans for dealing with the rising number of individuals breaking into the UK.

Keir Starmer, the head of the UK Labour Party, asserted that migrants from Bangladesh, among other countries, are not being deported from the country.

Speaking about asylum seekers, Starmer stated that "people coming from countries like Bangladesh are not being removed, because they're not being processed" in a Monday interview with The Sun.

Shadow Cabinet Minister Jon Ashworth then echoed his remarks, claiming that "people coming here from the Indian subcontinent do not get returned."

"I'll make sure we've got planes going off - not to Rwanda, because that's an expensive gimmick. They will go back to the countries where people come from. That's what used to happen," Starmer said, promising that a Labour government would establish a border security command with counterterrorism powers to "stop people coming here in the first place."

Britain's potential Prime Minister, Labor Party Leader Sir Keir Starmer, has called the Rwanda policy an "expensive gimmick" and claimed people from countries such as Bangladesh aren't being removed to their home nations under the Tories.

He talked about those Bangladeshis who do not have valid documents to stay or work in the UK.
He made this comment at an event organized by the Daily Sun of the United Kingdom yesterday. His comments have created a reaction in the Bangladeshi community in Britain.
Notably, the British government has recently signed an agreement with the Bangladesh government to repatriate Bangladeshis whose asylum applications have been rejected.

In Britain's upcoming July 4th election, in all opinion polls, the Labor Party has been ahead so far. If the Labor Party comes to power, 61-year-old Keir Starmer is expected to become prime minister as the party's top leader.

Dr. Anwara Ali, MBE, former Conservative MP and executive mayoral candidate, told the Daily Dazzling Dawn that this is Labour's true character.
